About the video maker

An agent that turns one document into a short explainer video with narration, captions, and music.

How to request a video

Slack

  1. Invite @Explainer Video Maker to the channel.
  2. Mention it in a message with the instruction and context for the video. It works best with a document or a link. You can attach text files (.md, .txt, .csv, .json, .html) as the source, images (.png, .jpg) as storyboard or design references, and one soundtrack (.mp3, .wav, .m4a) as the music bed. Add "music from 0:12" for an in-point and "match the soundtrack" to size the video to the track. The rights to a track you attach are yours; the finished video is public.
  3. The task is added to the Explainer Video Maker Space.
  4. “Script ready” arrives in about 3 minutes. The video takes about 25 minutes for 60 seconds.
